Scott Young Joins FECPAK as New Zealand Business Development Manager
02 November 2026
New Zealand: New Zealand digital diagnosis company Techion has appointed Scott Young as New Zealand Business Development Manager for FECPAK animal diagnostics.
Scott brings extensive experience in New Zealand’s livestock sector to the role. He joins Techion after working as a Livestock Representative for Silver Fern Farms in South Otago since 2017. Earlier in his career, he was a Livestock Representative with Alliance Group in North Otago. He’s worked as a builder and he also played competitive rugby in Hong Kong and England. When he’s not working Scott and his partner own a small farm. All of this adds up to ensure Scott brings practical knowledge of farming and a strong connection with the rural sector.
In his new Business Development role, Scott will focus on growing the expanding FECPAK product range in New Zealand, with an emphasis on driving Techion’s strategic partnership with Farmlands and Donaghys.
The partnership gives Farmlands customers nationwide access to the FECPAK range of animal health diagnostic testing, providing farmers with independent disease intelligence to support timely, informed animal health treatment decisions. Earlier this year Techion and Farmlands signed an Agreement to work together to make independent animal health diagnostics more accessible to New Zealand farmers, to support better disease management, animal health, productivity and farm returns.
Scott will lead sales activity in New Zealand supporting the growing FECPAK range of diagnostic offerings, including the new Facial Eczema and Worm ID testing. The tests range includes; Facial Eczema, Worm ID, FEC, Lung Worm and Fluke testing which are all available in the FECPAK Multi Test Kits at Farmlands stores. Or alternatively, farmers can purchase a FECPAK system for on-farm use through Farmlands or Donaghys.
